Seminar on Career Prospects in Airlines as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Today, the Department of Aeronautical Engineering successfully conducted a seminar titled Career Prospects in Airlines as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
The keynote speaker, H.E.M. Zahidul Islam Eunus, Deputy Manager, NOVOAIR, and a proud alumnus of the AE-01 batch, MIST, shared his professional journey and extensive experience as a CAAB and EASA Part-66 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and Type Rated Engineer of ATR 72-212A. He clearly explained the complete pathway to obtaining an AME license, covering academic preparation, practical training, licensing, type rating, and on-job training.
The session provided students with practical industry insights, regulatory awareness, and clear career guidance for working in airlines and MRO organizations. Faculty members and students of the department actively participated, making the seminar informative and impactful.
